Have loved this band since 1977 when I saw them in concert, we just saw them at the HickoryNewton NC speedway for Rockfest 2 and after all these years still AWESOME, still one if my favorite rock/funk bands. True legends of talent . I’ve seen them in several cities and always attend when they’re within 3 hours .

I love the shots of the Atlanta downtown connector in the 70s. No cars and only six lanes! Now it 80 lanes (hyperbole) and full of cars.

Saw this band tear a venue DOWN ,met and talked with them extensively (our bass player went to school with their drummer) made me realize 'racism' is shit! People are people.i matured that night.Awesome band.MUSIC- The great communicator!

This is digging deep baby I took a little my little brother to go see Stanley and he was on stage with a white boy that was playing a five-string bass and it was just insane Stanley Clarke's got to be the creme de la creme of bass players. I don't care what anybody says check it out.

This really takes me back to my clubbing days!! They used to play at a club in downtown Atlanta all the time back in the 70's. I'm glad they got the attention & fame they sooo much deserved. Love you guys!!

Yeah isn't it a shame, that The Rock scene back then in the seventies and 80s has disappeared! Used to go to Atlanta and there were live music venues everywhere featuring rock music! Now it's just shit rap music that comes out of Atlanta!

Chaka super star incredibile voice

Wow never seen this performance. She was fire here, still had the passion for the music. Her vocal ability completely astonishing, this notes seem to bubble up from inside and escape from her. Great stuff.

This was before she was told to stop using her guitar, they wanted her as a singer and a singer only. Easier to market.

My mom used to play this cassette tape when she took me to school back in 80’s. I didn’t really appreciate it then but I’m very thankful that she introduced me to MF. Still to this day I believe that they are the best black band that ever came out of Atlanta and the Black Crowes are the best white band that ever came out of Atlanta.
